no — embr is a between-session companion that complements your care. it holds the warmth in the 167 hours you’re not in session; it never stands in for your care team.
is it HIPAA-conscious?
yes. embr doesn't store what you type, and it runs on our own AWS infrastructure under a Business Associate Agreement with AWS. the privacy policy says exactly what is and isn't kept, in plain language.
